PCB Production Control/Expeditor

Reporting to the Planning Manager the PCB Production Control/Expeditor provides a link between mid and long term (2-12 months) manufacturing plans for PWB support of internal and external customers.   This is a customer focused role which requires the ability to work closely with production, planning and management to understand the manufacturing plan for success and communicate that to the manufacturing team.


  • Utilize Production Analysis and Daily Movement Reports, and Work Order Estimated Completion Report to monitor execution of jobs vs. the 2-12 internal assembly planned needs.
  • Track on-time delivery within PWB to support internal assembly shop and small external PCB orders and give estimated completion dates at weekly Promise Meeting.
  • Ensure jobs on hold are resolved quickly and do not age. Elevate to planning if hold cannot be resolved easily.
  • Actively support team lead daily meetings to expedite product and improve on-time delivery of product based on manufacturing plan.  Take, post, and send out list of actions and areas of risk to meet goals.
  • Work with PCB Planning to ensure key layers for Assemblies are released on-time and composites achieve acceptable movement.
  • Coordinate with management in resolving production planning and control issues using appropriate protocol (team lead, production manager, etc).
  • Work with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on-time and within customer specifications.
  • Communicate production updates daily, to Top Line Operations Managers and Planning Manager when jobs fall off track due to aging, equipment or technology issues
  • Update MRP system work orders that go on hold for <1 day so that automated daily hold reports can be generated
  • This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends. 
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.


  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
  • Printed Circuit Board manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
  • Previous experience using MRP software
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Strong analysis, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both one to one and in a group setting
  • Able to set agendas and lead meetings
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with team members, co-workers and management to coordinate operations and activities between departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
